About Dr. Corie Rowe & Comfort Family Dental
Tufts-trained, comfort-first, and deeply rooted in Chicago's South Side. Meet the dentist Beverly has trusted for years.
A Practice Built on Compassion & Excellence
Comfort Family Dental was founded on a simple belief: every patient deserves dental care that's not only clinically excellent but also genuinely comfortable and compassionate. Dr. Corie Rowe has assembled a team that treats every patient like a valued neighbor — because most of them are.
Located at 2036 W. 95th Street in the heart of Chicago's Beverly neighborhood, Comfort Family Dental serves Beverly, Morgan Park, Evergreen Park, Mount Greenwood, Washington Heights, and beyond. Dr. Rowe is dedicated to continuing education and staying at the forefront of dental technology — which is why we offer LANAP laser therapy, dental implants, Invisalign®, and digital imaging that were once only available at specialty practices.
And because Dr. Rowe has personally experienced dental anxiety, no patient here should feel judged, rushed, or afraid. That's the promise.

Our Promise to Every Patient
We listen first. Every plan starts with understanding your goals, concerns, and preferences — not a predetermined protocol.
We explain everything. No surprises. We walk you through every procedure, cost, and option before we begin.
We respect your time. Saturday appointments so you don't have to take a day off work.
No judgment — ever. Whether it's been 2 months or 12 years since your last visit, we're just glad you're here.
We make kids feel brave. Our team loves working with children and takes pride in making first dental visits positive, fun memories.

Dr. Corie Rowe, DMD
Dentistry is Dr. Rowe's third career, and he is the first to say he never planned on it. Back in 1992, when he told a mentor he wanted to work with science in a way that helped people, she suggested dentistry. He dismissed the idea outright.
Before this, he was an environmentalist. He worked at the federal, national, state and local levels out of Boston, helping low-income communities find the technical expertise they needed to tackle environmental problems those communities had identified themselves. After that he spent years as a network engineer, fixing the networks of small and mid-sized companies.
Then he went to dental school, graduating from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Those three careers look unrelated on paper. Dr. Rowe sees one thread running through all of them: each was a chance to be useful. That is the whole of his approach — to be of service to whoever comes through the door at 95th Street.
He describes himself as a lifelong learner. He has read a great deal about dentistry, but says he learns the most from his patients, and that knowledge sitting unused is worth nothing.
Practically, what that means for you: this is a single-doctor practice, so the dentist who plans your treatment is the dentist who carries it out. Implants are placed and restored in-house rather than referred across the city. Gum disease is treated with the LANAP laser. Children, adults and seniors are all seen here, and care is available in English and Spanish.

Book an AppointmentThe people you will actually see
Eva — Dental Assistant
Eva has been a dental assistant for over twelve years and has worked alongside Dr. Rowe for more than two of them. Her job, as she sees it, is making sure your time in the chair is as easy as it can be. Outside the office she is usually with her daughter and son, watching a film, or out exploring Chicago.
Comfort Family Dental is a small team by design. You will see the same faces at reception and chairside from one visit to the next, which is a large part of why patients stay with us for years.
Your first visit, start to finish
You will be greeted at the front desk and shown around the office — we would rather you knew where everything was before you sat down. The lobby is deliberately warm and bright, with music playing, because a waiting room that feels like a waiting room does nobody any good.
There is a beverage station with coffee, tea and cookies. Help yourself; that is what it is there for.
Dr. Rowe and the team see children who need the visit to be interesting rather than frightening, adults who want cosmetic work, and everyone in between. Most people tell us afterward that it was easier than they expected. That is the entire goal.
