About Evergreen Park

Evergreen Park is its own village. Its residents chose to incorporate in 1893 instead of joining Chicago, and the city now surrounds it on three sides. It’s known as the “Village of Churches.” Little Company of Mary Hospital, at 95th and California, was the site of one of the world’s first kidney transplants in 1950. At 95th and Western, Evergreen Marketplace now stands where the longtime Evergreen Plaza mall once did. That corner is the last stop before our office.

The drive from Evergreen Park

Head east on 95th Street. Once you cross Western Avenue you’re in Beverly, and we’re a few blocks further on, just before Damen. From 95th and Kedzie, it’s roughly a mile and a half, usually 5–10 minutes. Street parking is usually available out front, and the 95th Street CTA bus stops at our door.

One trip for the whole family

Tell us who’s coming, and we’ll book parent and child or a row of siblings back to back. Weekday appointments run until 5pm, so after-school visits are easy, and Saturday hours (9am–2pm) cover the families who can’t take a weekday off.
