Beverly sits on the Blue Island Ridge, the highest ground in Chicago, which is why Longwood Drive rolls the way few city streets do. The neighborhood is known for its tree-lined blocks of older homes, including Prairie-style houses, two Frank Lloyd Wright designs and the 1880s stone “castle” at 103rd and Longwood. Its main street is the 95th Street shopping strip, which starts at the “Welcome to Beverly Hills” sign at Western Avenue. Our office is on that strip, just west of Damen. And every March the South Side Irish Parade fills Western Avenue a few blocks away.
Getting here
Most Beverly patients are only a few minutes away by car, and street parking on 95th is usually easy to find right outside. If you’d rather leave the car at home, the 95th Street CTA bus stops at our door, and the 95th St–Beverly Hills station on Metra’s Rock Island Beverly Branch is nearby.
Built around a busy family calendar
We book siblings back to back so the whole family is done in one trip. Weekday hours run until 5pm, so an after-school slot works for most kids, and Saturdays from 9am to 2pm are there for families who can’t make a weekday work. Saturdays fill fastest, so call a few weeks ahead if you can.
For the kids
Bring your little one in by their first birthday. The first visit is short and gentle, and it’s mostly about getting comfortable. As kids grow, we add sealants (a thin protective coating on the chewing surfaces of back teeth), fluoride varnish, and custom sports mouthguards for hockey, football, lacrosse and basketball. Nervous kids get a slower pace and plain-language explanations before anything happens. For teens, Invisalign is $2,999 all-inclusive. Most cases take 6–12 months; more complex cases can take up to 18. Dr. Rowe gives you your projected timeline after your scan.
What your first visit includes
A full exam with Dr. Rowe, a complete set of X-rays, and a cleaning. Before you leave, you get a written treatment plan with the costs spelled out, so nothing comes as a surprise later.

Where exactly is the office?
2036 West 95th Street, on the 95th Street shopping strip between Damen and Western, just west of Damen. Street parking is usually available right outside.
How long has the practice been in the neighborhood?
Since 2013. Dr. Rowe opened Comfort Family Dental on 95th Street that year, and because it is a single-doctor practice, he is the dentist you will see at every visit.
Can you see all my kids at once?
Yes. Tell us how many children you are booking and we will line their appointments up back to back. Weekday afternoons until 5pm and Saturdays from 9am to 2pm are the most requested times, so it helps to call early.
When should my baby have a first dental visit?
By the first birthday. It is a quick, gentle visit: we check how the first teeth are coming in, look for early signs of decay, and give you practical tips on brushing and bedtime habits.
Do you take my insurance?
We accept most PPO plans, including Delta Dental, MetLife, BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, Guardian and others, plus Medicare Advantage dental benefits. We do not accept Medicaid or All Kids. Call us at 773-366-8718 with your plan name and we will check your benefits before your visit.
