Auburn Gresham takes its name from two earlier communities, Auburn Park and Gresham, and it’s a neighborhood of brick bungalows and two-flats, most of them built during a 1920s building boom. A stretch of those bungalows is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its landmarks include St. Sabina Church, long active in neighborhood life, and Leo High School, a South Side institution for generations. Along 79th Street, the neighborhood’s main commercial corridor, new storefronts and community spaces have opened in recent years.
How to reach us
By car, head south on Ashland Avenue to 95th Street, turn right, and drive about half a mile west. We’re just past Damen. Street parking is usually available. By transit, take the Red Line to the 95th/Dan Ryan terminal and transfer to the westbound 95th Street bus, which stops at our door. If you’re coming by bus, let us know when you book, and we’ll pick a time that gives you room for the transfer.

Several kids? We’ll book them one after another so you only make one trip. We’re open weekdays from 10am to 5pm, which leaves room for after-school visits, and Saturdays from 9am to 2pm for weeks when school and work don’t leave a gap.

We like to meet children by their first birthday. As they grow, fluoride varnish and sealants, a thin coating that seals the grooves of back teeth where cavities often start, add extra protection. Teens can explore Invisalign with a free video consult. It’s $2,999 all-inclusive, with financing available. Most cases take 6–12 months; more complex cases can take up to 18. Dr. Rowe gives you a complete exam, we take full X-rays, and you get a cleaning. You leave with a written plan and the price of each step, so you can decide what comes first and spread treatment out if that works better for your budget.
