General & Family Dentistry in Beverly, Chicago
From your child's very first visit to your own long-overdue cleaning — we're the one dental home for your whole family, no matter the age. Saturday appointments available for busy families.
Your Partner in Lifelong Dental Health
At Comfort Family Dental, we believe the best dental care is preventive care. Regular visits every six months let Dr. Rowe catch small problems before they become expensive ones. And yes — we love watching our patients grow up. From the first baby tooth to the senior years.
A Note for Moms
We know you're the one who books the appointments, manages the schedules, and makes sure everyone else gets taken care of — often before yourself. We see you. Our Saturday appointments (9am–2pm) exist so you don't have to choose between your family's dental health and your workday. Bring everyone in one trip if you like. We'll handle it.
And if it's been a while since your own last visit? No judgment — ever. We're just glad you're here.
Your Child's First Visit
We recommend bringing your child in for their first dental visit by age 1, or when their first tooth appears. We go slowly, explain everything in a fun way, and celebrate every brave little patient. Our goal is for your kids to actually look forward to coming to the dentist — and many of them do.

Sedation Dentistry
Dental anxiety is one of the most common reasons people avoid care. At Comfort Family Dental, we offer three levels of sedation so you never have to white-knuckle your way through an appointment:
- Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas) — Mild sedation that induces calm relaxation. Wears off quickly so you can drive home.
- Oral Conscious Sedation — A prescription pill taken before your appointment. You remain awake but deeply calm, with little memory of the procedure.
- IV Sedation — Maximum relaxation for complex or lengthy procedures, administered by a trained professional.

What parents ask us before they book
Can everyone be seen on the same day?
Yes, and it is the most common way our families book. Tell the front desk how many people you are bringing and roughly when suits, and we schedule the chairs back to back so it is one trip rather than four.
How young should a child be at a first visit?
Around the first birthday, or whenever the first tooth appears — whichever comes first. Early visits are short and friendly and mostly about getting comfortable with the room, the chair, and the noise. The dentistry, when there is any, comes later.
My child is genuinely terrified. What do you do differently?
Tell us when you book so we can schedule the time properly. We go slower, explain everything before we do it, and if a child needs to spend the first appointment just sitting in the room with nothing happening, that is a completely acceptable first appointment. Sedation options exist for older children and adults where they are appropriate, and we will discuss them openly rather than as a last resort.
Do I have to take a day off work?
Saturday appointments run 9am to 2pm, and weekdays go to 5pm. Between the two, most families manage without touching a school day or a vacation day.
Will I know the cost before treatment starts?
Yes. We verify your dental benefits before the visit where you give us the plan details in advance, and you leave the first appointment with a written treatment plan that has costs on it. Financing is available for larger treatment. Nothing begins until you have agreed to a number.
What if something breaks between checkups?
Call us the same day. We keep emergency appointments open every day we are open, and we would much rather see a chipped tooth on Tuesday morning than a serious infection the following week.
